Privacy policy

  • The current privacy policy defines and informs you of how AIDV uses and protects the information you provide to us, if any, when you use this site accessible from the following URL https://www.aidv.org
  • This privacy policy is subject to change or completion by the AIDV, including to comply with any legislative, regulatory, legal or technological changes. In such a case, the date of its update will be clearly identified at the top of this policy. These changes engage the user as soon as they are put online. It is therefore appropriate for the User to regularly consult this policy on the use of cookies in order to see any changes. 
  • In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations, the Computer and Freedoms Act of January 6, 1978 amended, so that, if necessary, legal and regulatory texts that will complement or replace them, the AIDV informs you of the following:

I- Personal Data

I-1 Identity of the Treatment Manager

The responsible for the treatment is the International Association of Lawyers of Vine and Wine Law -AIDV,c/o OIV – 12 Parvis de l’Unesco, 21000 Dijon – France. AIDV is an association
  • governed by the French law of 1 July 1901 declared in the Official Journal of the French Republic No. 46 of 13/11/1985,
  • registered in the National Register of Associations under the reference RNA W751074250 and

I-2 Personal data collected
 
In general, you can visit the AIDV Website without disclosing any personal information about yourself. The AIDV does not collect any sensitive data about you. Sensitive data are: racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, health data or sexual orientation. In accordance with the data processing register, data sent via contact, membership and conference registration forms is stored. This data simply allows us to identify you as best we can to facilitate further contact. They can also be used to find the message if it has been blocked by an antispam. Your IP address and your browser user agent are also collected for security reasons. 

The data collected are:

  • identification data (e.g. name, first name, occupation, etc.);
  • contact information (e.g. phone, email address, postal address,…)
  • Financial information (e.g. means of payment, amount of contribution)
  • log data (e.g. logs, IP address,…).
Bank details are not processed or stored on our website. By providing this information, you expressly agree that it will be processed by the AIDV, for purposes indicated in point 3 below and for the purposes recalled at the end of each form.

I-3 Processing Purposes

AIDV may process your personal data:
  • for the purpose of managing AIDV memberships and establishing a directory of AIDV members whose access is exclusively reserved for AIDV members; Or
  • for the purpose of providing members with the information or services set up by aidV (including: sending the newsletter, information about our conferences or publications,…); Or
  • to collect information that allows us to improve our Site or services (including through cookies); Or
  • to be able to contact you about various AIDV-related events, including service updates and member support.

I-4 Shelf life

  • According to the data processing register, your personal information is kept by the AIDV only for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in 3 above which in any case cannot exceed 5 years.

I-5 Computer Rights and Freedoms

  • In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, you can exercise your right to change, consult, or delete your personal data by writing to us at the postal address mentioned in point 1 or by filling out the contact form. AIDV undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable period of time that cannot exceed, in any event, the deadlines set by law. In case of unsatisfactory response, you can file a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Freedoms(CNIL)) 

II- Data Protection

II-1 Your cookie acceptance and management rights
 
When you first log on to the AIDV website, you are notified by a blindfold at the top of your screen that information about your browsing is likely to be stored in files called “cookies.” For managing cookies and your choices, the configuration of each browser is different. II-2 Procedures for Data Leaks
In accordance with the procedure set out in the General Data Protection Regulations in the event of a leak or anomaly regarding personal data in our possession, we will notify the relevant authorities (CNIL).

II-3 Third-party services that give us data
  • PayPal
In the case of online payment via PayPal, payment data is transferred to PayPal (Europe) LLP and Co., located in Luxembourg, for the purposes of the transaction. The User is therefore invited to refer to PayPal’s Privacy Policyfor more information on how PayPal handles this data. Because of the use of PayPal services, we do not have access to the user’s payment data (such as your credit card data). Transaction data other than payment data (billing address, payment time, amount paid, etc.) are retained for the duration of the legal requirement. Politique de Confidentialité de PayPal,  
  • Google Analytics
The site uses the Google Analytics service, provided by Google Inc (“Google”), which analyzes the site’s browsing and performs statistics and audience measurements. This service stores cookies on your computer. These cookies are used to analyze, measure our audience, know the number of page views, the number of visits, know the journey of users, know how they arrived on the site, etc. These statistics are anonymous. The AIDV website provides links to other sites that are outside its authority; aidV is not responsible for their content or the links they offer, nor do they provide any changes or updates they undergo. Offering a link to a website does not mean that aidV endorses that site or the information and services it provides. Nor can aidV vouch for the privacy policies of other websites. We therefore invite you to carefully read the policies of any website you access and ask you to provide personal information. Social media sharing cookies are issued and managed by the publisher of the social network concerned. Subject to your consent, these cookies allow you to easily share some of the content published on the AIDV website, including through a “button” sharing app depending on the social network concerned.
