Section Europe

Dear friends and colleagues,

It is a great honour and privilege have been elected President of the European Section of the AIDV.
In the difficult times that we live such task is even more challenging. So, I hope to be able to continue the excellent work done by my predecessors, aiming to develop the European Section of the AIDV.

According to our statutes, our Association purposes is to promote the study of vine and wine law in all its dimensions. At national and international level.
The wine sector, especially in Europe, is facing enormous difficulties and challenges due to pandemic.

We must be able to try to find possible solutions and new ideas for our sector to overcome pandemic crises impact and to drive forward sustainable recovery.

The best way to foster this cooperation and common reflection has been through our seminars and conferences.
The participation of our several members from different European countries, specialists, professors, or members of organizations in the sector, on these meetings has allowed an analysis of different perspectives and gave us new horizons.

I hope that we will be able to meet again in person soon and drink a glass of good wine together!
