This program will examine the trade policies adopted and executed by recent U.S. presidential administrations – and consider what trade policies might look like under the new Biden/Harris administration, as well as possible implications for the wine trade.
 
Private practitioners and government officials will provide insights into how Federal and state trade policies – including trade agreements and sanctions – are developed, making special reference to the wine sector, and whether President Biden might continue with the nationalist approach adopted during the Trump administration, return to an earlier liberal economic model, or adopt a combination.
 
Featured speakers will include:

• Gary Horlick, Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School
